GNORL (svirfneblin)

Prime Requisite: Strength.

Other Requirements: Constitution and Wisdom of 9 or greater.

Experience Bonus: +5% for Strength of 13-15, +10% for Strength of 16 or greater.

Hit Dice: 1d6 per level with Constitution adjustments, up to 9th level. Starting at 10th level, +2 hit points per level and Constitution adjustments no longer apply.

Weapon Skills: 2, +1 at levels 4, 8 and 12. One additional skill every 600,000XP beyond 12th level.

Other Skills: 4, +1 at levels 3, 6, 9 and 12. One additional skill every 600,000XP beyond 12th level.

Maximum Level: 16th level.

Armour Allowed: All; Shields allowed.

Weapons Allowed: All small melee weapons, crossbow, sling, blowgun, dart.

Special Abilities: 120' Infravision, -1 penalty to skill rolls and attack rolls in daylight, Extra Languages (Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Goblin), 3 in 6 chance to Detect Traps in Stonework; Sloping Passages and Sliding Walls; New Constructions in Stonework, Move Silently and Fighter Manoeuvres (Lance Attack and Set Spear vs Charge), Fighter Combat Options at 12th level, 2 Attacks per Round at 12th level, Half Damage from Magic at 14th level, 3 Attack per Round at 16th level. Detection ability. -2 to AC when attacked by enemies over man-size (6' and above). Illusion and related spells, illusion spells penalise target's saving throws by +2.

Spell-like Abilities: Once per day/level a gnorl may use the following spell-like abilities: blindness, blur, change self. These abilities are identical to the Magic-user spells of the same names.
