Humpty Dumpty

Filed under: musing — rabbit @ 11:31 am

A few nights ago I dreamt that I fell off a ladder and broke my leg. Last night, while painting ceilings barefoot, that dream almost came true. I think a guardian angel broke my fall.

Be out of working commission for a few days though it will give me lots of time to write. Maybe I’ll write something about *you*…

a gentle wind blows,
touching deeply,
that space;

    within.

waiting to be held,
like a shining pearl,
sheltered from the storm;

    without.

a place to rest the heart,
upon the faith of the world,
coalescing into now.

3: Difficulty at the Beginning leading to 33: Retreat. Line six says it all…

Horse and wagon part.
Bloody tears flow.

The difficulties at the beginning are too great for some persons. They get stuck and never find their way out; they fold their hands and give up the struggle. Such resignation is the saddest of all things. Therefore Confucius says of this line:

“Bloody tears flow: one should not persist in this.”
