“Let us, then be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labour and to wait.”~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 - 1882)
i’ll be your cowboy
and you can be my cowgirl;
at home on the range
Though you’re miles away pushing the limits of mind, body, and machine; I feel you here in my heart…

nothing comes to mind -
to high.coup or not high.coup?
that is the question…
“Love asks us that we be a little braver than is comfortable, a little more generous, a little more flexible. It means living on the edge more than we care to.” ~ Norman Mailer
I didn’t watch a game all year, but I have to admit to feeling a little bit of the excitement being in the superbowl has brought to this city, so yesterday I went over to Eve’s and watched the game, ate too many chips, and cheered. It was a pretty good game decided by some questionable officiating, a few outstanding plays, and a key holding call against the Seahawks early in the fourth quarter. It was most interesting to watch the collective psyche on the sidelines shift with each big play. Back and forth all day long. The Steelers were outplayed for the most part, but when it mattered, seemed to find the most heart. That appeared to make all the difference. At the end of each half the Hawks looked like they were in a stupor and just could not connect. Good game, bad half-time show, and few good commercials;
Thanks for the ride Seahawks and better luck next year…
PS - The ‘postgame show’ rocked ;)

my cherry tree blooms -
nevermind that old groundhog,
spring is here early!
